Beyond Mobility: Why we are opening the GSVF to Defense and Health Tech?
The methods we have built for the virtual development and validation of complex mobility systems, simulation, digital twins, sensor fusion, AI-supported decision-making, are hardware- and domain-agnostic. They are needed wherever systems act autonomously, change continuously through software updates, and must nevertheless operate safely and verifiably.
In its 19th edition on 7 and 8 October 2026 in Graz, the Graz Systems & Vision Forum becomes a dedicated meeting point for the Defense and Health Tech market, without abandoning our origins in intelligent mobility. Uncrewed systems on land, in the air and at sea, sensor fusion and multi-agent coordination are the same scientific challenges we have worked on for years in automated driving, under different boundary conditions.
What connects these domains is one shared question: how do we demonstrate that a complex, learning, continuously changing system reliably does what it is supposed to do? That is the core of Virtual Assurance and the common thread through this year’s program.
