Fluid-HSI Symposium 2025
On June 4 and 5, the Fluid Human-System Interaction Symposium 2025 took place in Graz — an inspiring event that brought together experts from the fields of

The first day offered stimulating insights, including a provocative keynote by Johannes Robier (World Usability Congress), who raised the question: “Shall we design for safety or emotions?”
At the Experience Corner, participants had the chance to explore interactive exhibits and research highlights presented by AVL, Infineon, MAGNA, TU Graz, JOANNEUM RESEARCH, and VIRTUAL VEHICLE. The day concluded with a relaxed flying dinner, providing the perfect atmosphere for informal exchange and networking.
Day two focused on in-depth dialogue: presentations, workshops, and interactive discussions with experts from Magna, TU Graz, JOANNEUM RESEARCH, AIT, EuroNCAP, and VIRTUAL VEHICLE explored topics such as driver assistance, gamification in safety-critical contexts, demand-responsive mobility, and adaptive, transparent AI.
The symposium clearly demonstrated: Fluid Human-System Interaction is a key driver for a safe, sustainable, and human-centered technological future.
