PACE-DPP Austria
Shaping the Future of Digital Product Passport
On January 30 and 31, 2025, the PACE-DPP (Promoting and Accelerating a Digital Product Passport-based Data-Service Ecosystem) project was officially launched.
Led by VIRTUAL VEHICLE with 13 partners from Austria and Germany, this project sets the stage for innovative DPP ecosystems.
Towards a Digital and Sustainable Future
PACE-DPP focuses on developing clear solutions to overcome key technological and regulatory barriers. By working with the electronics and wood/paper industries, the project uses advanced tools like Data Spaces and Digital Twins to drive progress.
Supporting the Circular Economy
The project aims to make supply chains more transparent and help businesses embrace circular economy models. With accessible DPP services, it encourages resource efficiency, reduced waste, and sustainable practices in line with the European Green Deal.
Collaboration is the Key
PACE-DPP unites experts from technology, sustainability, and research to ensure success. This collaborative effort blends skills from different sectors to create strong, innovative solutions.
Innovation for a Greener Industry
With Digital Product Passports, companies can adopt digital transformation in a sustainable way. The project launch in January marks the beginning of this journey towards a greener, more sustainable future.
