VIRTUAL VEHICLE at Automotive Safety Events in Shanghai and Tokyo

As part of its ongoing commitment to expanding international research cooperation and driving innovation in virtual validation and sustainable vehicle development, VIRTUAL VEHICLE recently participated in two leading events in Asia: The Automotive Safety Summit in Shanghai and SafetyUpdate Japan in Tokyo.

 

Representing the organization, Christian Kurzböck and Stefan Kirschbichler engaged with global experts, presented current research highlights, and contributed to the strategic positioning of VIRTUAL VEHICLE in two of the world’s most important automotive markets.

Automotive Safety Summit Shanghai

The Automotive Safety Summit Shanghai brought together more than 400 professionals from industry and academia to discuss key developments in active and passive vehicle safety.

 

  • Stefan Kirschbichler chaired the session Virtual Testing, focusing on digital safety assurance and methodological advances.
  • Christian Kurzböck gave a technical presentation on System Simulation and Virtual Validation, showcasing state-of-the-art developments from VIRTUAL VEHICLE research programs.

In addition to the conference, Stefan Kirschbichler and Christian Kurzböck visited the headquarters of our shareholder MAGNA International in Shanghai. The exchange with Miguel Ribo focused on joint innovation goals in virtual safety validation and sustainable structural concepts.

SafetyUpdate Japan – Tokyo

In Tokyo, VIRTUAL VEHICLE took part in the well-established SafetyUpdate Japan event hosted by carhs training gmbh. As both exhibitor and speaker, the organization contributed to the international exchange on future-oriented vehicle safety technologies.

 

  • Stefan Kirschbichler presented on System Simulation and Virtual Validation, emphasizing efficient and accurate safety system design.
  • Christian Kurzböck spoke on Smart, Safe, Sustainable – Tailored Structures from Recycled Aluminium, highlighting novel approaches in lightweight, eco-conscious design.
