Contact-less gas measurement for thermal-runaway tests of lithium-ion batteries. This technology supports safe battery systems and provides precise measurement data for vehicle development.

Insights on Mobility: Keynote by CEO Jost Bernasch
CEO Jost Bernasch addressed the challenges and opportunities of the European automotive industry. He outlined five essential areas of action for a competitive future:
- Clear technological priorities
- Software as a critical core competence
- Scalable platforms
- Greater efficiency and more resilient supply chains
- Stronger partnerships between industry, research and policy
The central question was how Styria can build on its long-standing strengths in education, research and industry to successfully master global transformation.
Deep Talk on Digitalisation and Innovation: Pitch by Kevin Kulle
During the Deep Talk session, Kevin Kulle presented the services of the EDIH Applied CPS. His pitch demonstrated how companies can practically implement digital transformation, from data analytics to automation and AI-supported processes.
The session clearly illustrated the concrete support available to companies in Styria and beyond to advance their digitalisation strategies.
A Day of Exchange and Future Perspectives
More than 1,500 participants used Zukunftstag 2025 for networking and knowledge exchange across business, science and the public sector.
