Christmas: Doing something good together!

That was our motto this Christmas, as we want to give something back to society. This year we supported two wonderful initiatives: the Samariterbund and the organization Herzkinder.

“Spielen Sie Christkind” – Supporting the Samariterbund

During the pre-Christmas season, VIRTUAL VEHICLE employees had the opportunity to donate small gifts for children in difficult situations as part of the “Spielen Sie Christkind” campaign. These will be distributed by the Samaritans to children all over Austria to bring a smile to their faces on Christmas Eve.

The initiative was well supported: More than 40 gifts were lovingly wrapped and collected on our Christmas table in the lobby.

On December 17, 2024, the gifts were officially handed over to Herbert Hofmann and Lukas Butzetzki from the Samariterbund, who will distribute them to children in need.

Christmas Bazaar for the Charity Herzkinder

The second initiative was launched by our IT department: a Christmas bazaar in aid of the Herzkinder association. Employees were able to pick up used equipment such as notebooks, monitors or cell phones in exchange for a donation.

Thanks to the great turnout and the generous doubling of the proceeds by our management, we were able to hand over a check for €2,000 to Herzkinder. The handover took place with Simone Mußbacher on 18.12.2024 at VIRTUAL VEHICLE.
